The conveyor system is of crucial importance for egg farms of all sizes. Variations in battery arrangement as a rule always require a tailor-made individual solution . That is why we have based our LUBING curve conveyor on the following concept:

Maximum operational safety and minimum maintenance.
A unit construction system with elements designed to cope with any imaginable spot requirements, all kinds of curves, heights and distances.
Conveyor belt widths of between 200 an 750 mm (8 in. - 30 in.).
Capacities ranging from 15.000 to over 65.000 eggs per hour.

	for automatic lubrication of the conveyor chain. Switches on and off automatically with the main drive. The tiny, adjustable oil feed ensures that the curve conveyor runs extremely smoothly. The chain cover keeps eggs well out of the way of the outer chain. The drip oiler is available for all belt widths.
The LUBING Electric Drip-Oiler
	It is used to distribute eggs evenly across the conveyor belt and to transfer them from the transfer areas. It makes full use of the belt width and mixes eggs from various batteries en route. The guide unit is available for all belt widths. It is easy to assemble and can be added to systems already in use.

Construction, function, techical details

The central element of the curve conveyor is the LUBING conveyor chain. Version (A) is complete galvanized and consists of two tempered external chains with welded cross slats or members.
The members are situated at one level to ensure that eggs land softly on the belt, can easily make their way through transfer areas and are not crushed on the inside of bends.

The distance between cross-members is designed to allow the eggs to climb a 20 degree gradient.

To reduce the number of damaged eggs at for instance a transfer point (as seen in picture (C) the rods of the conveyor chain can be covered with plastic to increase the damping and the protection even at hard climate conditions.
This conveyor chain version (B) is available in width of 500 and 750 mm and allows gradients up to 15 degrees.

The conveyor chain runs backwards and forwards on stabil plastic runners. The straight sections of conveyor belt consist of connecting-elements either 2 m or 3 m long. The side profiles and cross-struts are made of anodised aluminium. All plastic runners and guide elements are wear and tear-resistant. Gradients are cleared, in both directions, by means of pivoting units. Standard 180°, 90° and 45° curve units, including S-bends, are available. Other angles can be made to measure. The height required can be reached by means of adjustable floor supports. Several varieties are available and can be used as required. Connecting-elements are available in closed and open versions, the latter being designed for use in transfer areas where plates for droppings For safety reasons the conveyor chain is clad on both sides in a red chain cover. When an egg lift is used for conveyance a telescopic unit is required. It comes complete with balancing and pivoting units on both sides and can be added on at any point along the curve conveyor. Its length will be in accordance with the height of the battery and is adjusted according to requirements.

The right choice of drive will depend on the length of the belt combined with heights scaled and the number of bends.
